Keep the tooth in place by its crown and wash off the root in water if it’s filthy. Don’t scrub or remove any of the attached pieces if you can try gently inserting and holding the tooth into its socket. If that’s not possible, place the tooth into the milk cup and go to the dentist as fast as possible (don’t forget to carry the tooth! ).
A broken or cracked tooth could cause extreme discomfort based on the extent. The pain could be intense during biting, hot temperatures, air sensitivity, and general misery. For an appointment, please call our office right away. You can apply cold compresses and prescription pain medications to relieve the pain that comes from a broken tooth.
If you’re suffering from any toothache, we must be aware of it. A mild pain, for example, an extremely mild ache or sensitization to certain foods or temperatures, is usually left until your next scheduled appointment. If your pain is severe or sharp, it could be a sign of the presence of a more serious issue. If you suspect this, you should call our office for an urgent appointment for dental emergencies.
